Sustainability doesn’t end at the trade fair – it goes further.

Sustainability doesn’t end at the trade fair – it goes further.

Building on the SUSTAINABILITY AREA at the INOVA COLLECTION, a new research project focusing on the jewellery and gemstone industry was launched on 20 March 2026 in collaboration with Ralf G. Schröder, an expert and management consultant in the jewellery and gemstone sector, and the Institute for Industrial Ecology (INEC) at Pforzheim University.

The aim is to systematically analyse the industry’s complex value chains and to develop greater transparency and sustainable solutions.
The project kicked off with a specialist presentation by Ralf Schröder, who highlighted the key challenges – particularly along global supply chains.

The results of the student project will be on display in August at the very place where the initiative began: at the INOVA COLLECTION from 28–30 August 2026

We are delighted to create, with the SUSTAINABILITY AREA, a platform that actively connects the industry, research and practice and drives concrete developments.
