We are very much looking forward to staging INOVA COLLECTION with you from 29. – 31.08.2020! Working in close collaboration with the health authorities, we have devised a series of safety regulations and recommendations designed to ensure that the event runs smoothly, and that business can be conducted in a safe environment. We will be able to respond dynamically and at short notice to any changes prescribed by the authorities, allowing you to feel safe during INOVA COLLECTION. Basis for all actions by participants should be: Our hygiene concept is based on the latest Hygiene Recommendations from the Federal State of Hesse, which you can view here at any time. As per: 13.08.2020 Please note that visitors to INOVA COLLECTION must register and generate their tickets online (print and fold) in advance of the fair. It will NOT be possible to register on arrival. Our hygiene concept also requires you to provide your full details when registering for the event. This is the only way for people to be identified and contacted quickly, should there be a Covid-19 outbreak. To respond adequately to surges in the number of attendees, we will ask visitors to choose time slots during the registration process so that we can see in the run-up to the fair when waiting times can be expected and/or access restrictions may be needed. The entrances and exits will be separated for both exhibitors and visitors. The Help Desk and Cloakroom will be located in a marquee in front of the hall. This will also be the first point of contact where visitor registration will be verified etc. The turnstile system will allow us to ensure that the influx of visitors is controlled and that a safe distance is always maintained between visitors. The desks will be spaced out accordingly and will be fitted with protective plexiglass screens. The wearing of a mask, covering the nose and mouth, is mandatory across the entire exhibition site (incl. outdoor area, inside the exhibition hall) and wherever the minimum social distance is not maintained. During customer talks at the exhibition stands, participants may remove their masks, provided corresponding protective measures are in place on the We provide face visors for people who are exempt from wearing a mask with a medical certificate. To maximise safety, floor markings and signage will ensure that visitors are guided through the fair in a controlled manner (one-way system). The width of the gangways has been adapted so that social distancing can be observed. During INOVA COLLECTION, we will be employing “Hygiene Officers” whose sole purpose will be to ensure that the hygiene standards are implemented and monitored during the event. At the same time, safety and service information will be communicated throughout the building over the tannoy, as required. Information boards and signage will provide corresponding guidance. Cleaning and disinfection plan In order to protect the health of everyone involved, physical contact and shaking hands should be avoided at all business appointments and meetings. Responsibility at the stands for the implementation and observance of the hygiene and social distancing measures valid at the time of the fair, lies with the exhibitor, as is the case for industrial and fire safety regulations. In the run-up to the event, exhibitors at INOVA COLLECTION will receive an extensive briefing and will be required to implement the current hygiene measures. This will include, for example, the provision of hand sanitisers and surface disinfectants at the stand, a separate entrance and exit to and from the stand, observance of the social distancing measures in force at the fair and – in situations where social distancing cannot be observed – the wearing of masks that cover the mouth and nose, or the provision of other protective measures (e.g. plexiglass screens). The wearing of masks, covering the nose and mouth, is mandatory. During business talks, masks may be removed on condition that corresponding protective measures (e.g. Plexiglass screens) are in place on counters and tables. The ventilation system at the venue – Messecenter Rhein-Main – ensures that the air in the exhibition halls is constantly being exchanged. Visitors and exhibitors will also benefit from our new air conditioning system. In addition to the ventilation system, each storey has plenty of doors and windows that can be opened during the fair as required. Unfortunately, the regulations prescribed by the authorities prevent us from staging a supporting programme on the scale of the past two years. With a view to protecting all attendees, we are organising the fair without any major visitor attractions and we have also cancelled INOVA NIGHT. We have adapted our free catering service to the regulations set down by the health authorities. This year, we will be introducing “Food Stations” in a generous outdoor area available only to participants. The food stations within the exhibition area will offer snacks only. All stations will be fitted with appropriate protection. We will also be monitoring the number of people in the standing and seating areas at any one time. If waiting times should arise, corresponding floor markings will enable the minimum distance for social distancing to be observed at all times. In close collaboration with the health authorities, we have devised a series of safety regulations and recommendations.
