PRESS RELEASE
INOVA COLLECTION 2026: Direction and inspiration for specialist retailers
Hofheim-Wallau, 1 September 2026. The demands placed on jewellers and goldsmiths are growing ever more complex. Today’s trade visitors expect more from a trade fair than an efficient ordering process – they are looking for the right brands and clear direction in a dynamic market environment. This is precisely the focus that INOVA COLLECTION placed at the heart of its 2026 edition: from 28 to 30 August, the fair once again provided a platform that extended well beyond traditional order business.
‘The greatest opportunities for retailers today lie in sharpening their own profile and recognising developments early. That requires knowledge, dialogue within the industry, and a broader perspective. INOVA COLLECTION creates exactly that space: it combines order business with professional exchange and gives the trade the inspiration it needs to meet tomorrow’s challenges,’ says Project Manager Verena Westphal.
The strength of INOVA COLLECTION lies not in its size, but in its relevance. A curated exhibitor portfolio, a clear hall structure and short distances allow trade visitors to plan their visit efficiently, meet existing business partners and discover new brands with purpose. At the same time, manufacturers gain direct access to key decision-makers: ‘The INOVA COLLECTION is a very important and high-quality fair for us – to meet existing customers, acquire new ones and present our latest products. The quality of trade visitors is also excellent. This year, we saw a particularly strong presence of goldsmiths and knowledgeable jewellers – exactly the target audience we want to reach,’ says Oliver Krawczyk of BEDRA.
Beyond reaching key customer groups, Guido Abeler of Carl Engelkemper values the fair as a forum for making sense of current industry topics: ‘The INOVA COLLECTION offers us the ideal platform to engage directly with our customers, discuss current developments and jointly explore perspectives for the future of the trade.’
Industry knowledge with practical value
This professional dialogue continued throughout the accompanying programme. With practice-oriented formats, the INOVA COLLECTION complemented the fair experience with concrete ideas for everyday business life.
Following its successful debut the previous year, the Sustainability Area once again brought current questions around sustainable supply chains and responsible business practices into focus. The The regulars’ table – where jewellery, design and the art of goldsmithery come together’, fireside chats and Sustainability Talks addressed further industry topics and invited personal exchange and open discussion.
Workshops and live demonstrations provided direct practical relevance. The programme was rounded off by INOVA NIGHT, which offered a relaxed setting for further expanding professional networks within the industry.
Outstanding talent – the winners of THE GOLDEN NOVA 2026
The highlight of the first day of the fair was the presentation of THE GOLDEN NOVA awards. Under the theme Noble combinations – the interplay of metals’, ten nominated talents presented their design concepts, which had previously been selected by a high-calibre panel of industry judges. VALORIMA – die Juwelierversicherung der Mannheimer – ensured that all nominees were presented to their best advantage by providing each with a high-quality display case in the award area.
The competition was won by Annelie Klimmek of Zwei machen Schmuck with her ring ‘Tic Tac Toe’. Silver went to Alicia Eigenbrodt of aurifique Goldschmiedeatelier for her bracelet ‘in fluxu temporis’. Paula Zentgraf of the Staatliche Berufsfachschule für Glas und Schmuck Kaufbeuren-Neugablonz received Bronze for her bracelet ‘Gesteckt’. Kristina Jung of the Staatliche Zeichenakademie Hanau was named the audience favourite with her ring ‘Mitternachtssonne’. She will have the opportunity to present her work at INOVA COLLECTION 2027 and will receive a professional photo shoot from Studio Pixelgold worth 600 euros.
The three top-placed designers once again received attractive cash and material prizes from the competition’s sponsors. This year’s competition was supported by Carl Schaefer Gold- und Silberscheideanstalt with 1,600 euros, by Rudolf Flume Technik GmbH with 1,200 euros, and by HVS-Handelswarenvertrieb Schulz with 900 euros. Parcel Broker ensured the safe transport of all nominated pieces to and from the fair.
