Although for current reasons INOVA COLLECTION had to manage without its comprehensive programme of supporting events, on the first day of the fair the GOLDEN NOVA was awarded for the third time, in association with Schmuck magazine. Under the theme “Opposites attract!”, young designers, students, apprentices and graduates of the various training courses took part in the competition for budding talent, submitting jewellery pieces they themselves had created. From a total of twelve nominations, a top-class jury selected the first three places in advance of the fair.
The Gold award was won by Stefanie Taxer for her necklace, “Process of the clear quartz”. The Silver award went to Rhea Auberger’s necklace, while in the Bronze category the recipient was Malin Sleeboom with her piece “Symbiosis”. In addition, for the duration of the fair, visitors were able to vote for the public GOLDENE NOVA award, which will be announced after the event.
The top three award winners once again enjoyed some attractive prizes: the winners received a precious metal weight account with BEDRA worth €1500, along with a photo shoot in one of the future editions of Schmuck magazine, and gift certificates from Rudolf Flume Technik and MW Edelsteine Martin Weskamp worth €800 and €600 respectively.
